The American people have always welcomed immigrants, from all nations, with open arms. There are ways to legally enter this country, and many people do so every year, Many more are waiting to enter this country, they have paid the fees and filed the papers and are following the laws in order to do so. To reward criminals that have broken our laws by giving them something of great value, citizenship in this great country, must not happen. We must secure our borders first and foremost, so we can allow or stop people from entering at our discretion.

We must stop people that have no right to be here from stealing from the poor and disabled in our country. Our welfare systems are being bankrupt by these criminals. Hospitals are being forced to close and exasperating an already bad situation. Our schools are over crowded by children that can not speak the language of our country, special teachers and arrangements are made at great expense destroying our educational system. Look at the test results on our students, they are dropping every year.

Diseases that were eradicated in our country are being brought in across our porous borders. Antibiotic resistant tuberculosis rates are climbing. Our prisons are crowded with illegal aliens, more than 30% of our federal prison population are not citizens! We are paying a high price to feed and house, not to mention medical care supplied to these individuals. We need to stop them before they enter this country. If arrested we should send them home. The numbers of illegal aliens driving drunk, driving without insurance, littering and breaking many laws after breaking the law and entering our country.

My suggestion is to secure our borders and not give tax payer paid benefits to people that have no right to be here. Any form of government assistance should only be available to those here legally, government issued ID should be available only to people with a legal visa and should expire when the visa expires, and if they are caught driving on an expired license with an expired visa or none, they should be deported immediately. Once we begin enforcing our laws the people that should not be here, will go home. Those that do not, when they are arrested for any reason should be sent home.
